What Subjects Do We Teach?
We offer three main curriculums (we are flexible): USABO prep, Intermediate AP Bio level tutoring, and a Beginner Middle School exploratory course. Along with any of these courses students will have the opportunity to explore career pathways and receive mentorship/networking opportunities with professionals in Bio related fields. Our tutors go through multiple screening stages to ensure the best teaching quality.

USABO
This Intermediate curriculum is tailored for students seeking to master the college-level curriculum and achieve a 5 on the national exam. Students must be currently enrolled in a high school biology course and are highly recommended to register for the AP exam.
Intermediate
Beginner
The USABO curriculum is a fast-paced intensive designed to bridge the gap between high school curriculum and the rigorous demands of the national biology competition. To ensure students can keep up with the advanced pace, the course requires participants to have already completed or be currently enrolled in AP Biology.
This Beginner Biology Exploration curriculum is designed to spark curiosity in middle schoolers by connecting fundamental life science concepts to real-world applications and diverse professional fields. There are no formal prerequisites for this course; it is open to any student with a passion for nature and a desire to see where a love for biology can lead.
USABO
Prepare for the USA Biology Olympiad (USABO) Open Exam in early February! This curriculum includes combining content review, problem-solving, and practice questions across all major biology topics.
-
Evolution & Ecology – evolution, climates, biomes, ecosystems, animal behavior, and osmoregulation.
-
Molecules & Cells – water chemistry, macromolecules, proteins, enzymes, and cellular processes.
-
Plant Biology – plant cells, hormones, and primary vs. secondary growth.
-
Genetics & Molecular Biology – DNA replication, gene expression, genetics, techniques, and biosystematics.
-
Anatomy & Physiology – reproduction, endocrine, digestive, immune, cardiovascular, respiratory, and nervous systems.

Intermediate
This curriculum is intended to prepare students for the AP Biology Exam on May 4th. Sessions blend review, discussion, and AP-style practice. Participation in the AP exam is optional—take it if you want structured prep and extra support.
-
Evolution & Ecology – phylogeny, natural selection, genetic drift, speciation, populations, communities, ecosystems, biodiversity, conservation
-
Biochemistry & Cells – biomolecules, enzymes & ATP, cell structures, membranes, transport
-
Cellular Energy & Communication – cellular respiration, photosynthesis, signaling, cell cycle, division
-
Genetics & Molecular Biology – DNA replication, transcription, translation, mutations, meiosis, inheritance, gene regulation, developmental genetics, origin of life

Beginner
Our tutoring program is designed to support students in Middle School Biology and High School Introductory Biology concepts. Whether you're new to the subject or preparing for advanced coursework, we provide a welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and grow.
